JOIN LIKE-MINDED WOMEN for a day
to rediscover your JOYful inner child. Our
own Mary Ellen will share with us ways to recapture JOY
in your life. This one day retreat will be held at Unity of
Tucson with meaningful break-out sessions, sharing, learning,
laughter and praying together. Registration will begin
in January, watch Expanding Horizons or the Sunday bulletin
for more details and registration information. You don’t
want to miss this special day!

Coming soon is the Linus Blanket project. Marilyn
Brodhurst will be sharing more information on this in
upcoming issues of Expanding Horizons, or call Corrine

The Planning Committee continues to meet monthly to
organize and coordinate all the upcoming events for SOFIA
at Unity of Tucson. The next meeting will be Saturday,
November 7th at noon.

Eight women participated in Ben’s Bells last month for
a delightful sharing of energies of this worthy project. The
ladies enjoyed lunch and friendship afterwards. Thank you
to Cathi Brandon for coordinating this extraordinary event.

added to our email list so you can stay current with what is
in the planning stages.

MORE FROM SOFIA…
Share with others during this Giving Season…we are
collecting NEW packaged socks, underwear and gloves.
Donations can be items in many sizes from child to adult.
We distribute these items to several helping organizations
throughout our community. Basic gloves stretch to fi t a broad
range of sizes. Socks and underwear often come packaged
3-6 per bag. There will be SOX BOX collection boxes in
the foyer starting Sunday, November 15th and continuing
through Sunday, December
13th. Volunteers are needed to
help sort, bag and deliver these
