Others in Our Lives

Attempting to Control Others Attracts More to Be Controlled… It is easy to understand how you would come to the conclusion that your path to feeling good is through influencing or controlling the behavior of others. But as you attempt to control them (through influence or coercion), you discover that not only can you not contain them – but your attention to them brings more like them into your experience. You simply cannot get to where you want to be by controlling or eliminating the unwanted. — Abraham  [Excerpted from the book, “The Vortex, Where the Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships. “]

How many times do we predicate our feelings upon another’s actions or non-actions…  We are now talking about adults, not children who are yet under our care and keeping, but other adults in our lives that might indeed include our children.  Still we try or at least catch ourselves trying and the one Law of Mind Action or Attraction is yet at work as it is throughout our lives and the choices we make as well as the areas of focus we maintain.  Understand that this action of the one Law simply looks at the vibrational energy that is behind our efforts or areas of focus, not the personalities or events per se.  So this vibrational energy becomes a request for more…more moments of frustration, more experiences of exasperation, more moments of annoyance in the guise of person, place, condition, circumstance or thing.  In other words, anything or anybody that can be factored into our lives.  Understanding the challenge, we simply cannot manifest the fulfillment of our lives by controlling others.  If someone is in our lives and that circumstance cannot change, re-focus upon a facet of the experience that doesn’t raise the hackles or cause us frustration.  One of many things will then happen, they will automatically factor themselves out of our lives, or they will remain, but within our peace.
