“Worrying is using your imagination to create something you don’t want.” — Abraham [Excerpted from Asheville, NC – Saturday, September 5th, 1998]
Worry carries with it an energy, as does everything. It has a vibrational imprint, almost like a bar or QR (quick response) code carries with it a point of connectivity with something. In this case the “something” is read by the Perpetual Scanner called God, and worry is a “message” that is asking for more that is same. “It’s almost midnight and my daughter, who is out on her first date with a boy I hardly know, has not come home or called…he promised me she would be brought home no later than ten! What do you want me to do?” Of course, the mind easily shifts to elements of worry, concern, apprehension and foreboding. However, what we can do is inject into the moment the awareness of what the use of our imagination is doing, and to make the choice to consciously shift the focus of the energy of our imagination as we envision what we really want to have happen, and then to sit (or pace) in the energy of this redesigned point of focus. Other things might not be as momently challenging as a daughter long overdue, but the Principle is the same. Everything carries with it a vibrational imprint that is asking for a connection with more of a something. Pause to remember what is really happening, and then endeavor, with a different energy pattern, to shift to something that carries with it an element of optimism and buoyancy. You/we are creators of our own lives, and imagination is but one of the tools we are perpetually using.
