“Your life is right now! It’s not later! It’s not in that time of retirement. It’s not when the lover gets here. It’s not when you’ve moved into the new house. It’s not when you get the better job. Your life is right now. It will always be right now. You might as well decide to start enjoying your life right now, because it’s not ever going to get better than right now—until it gets better right now!” Abraham [Excerpted from Silver Spring, MD on 5/11/02]
When one stops to thinking about what was said/shared, it becomes so very logical, yet we so often do our very best to have as our focus goals or sought for events that will bring us fulfillment, hence we also (and often unknowingly) vector the emotion of disappointment and unhappiness into the ever-present now, because the now doesn’t contain the fulfillment we have as a goal. So, what is possible to do with the now? Look for things to appreciate. Seek actions that will be a blessing to others. Then, “because it’s not ever going to get better than right now—until it gets better right now!” Why? Always the energy of the now becomes the energy that produces our next now, and until we find a way to start decorating our now with joy, peace and other feel-good emotions, we just roll-over choices as to why we don’t feel fulfilled and good into our now’s of tomorrow. You are appreciated and we are glad that you are in our now.
