Government

“At its best, government t is a delicately chosen, evenly balanced group of fair minded, willing individuals who have a genuine desire that the life of every individual be as wonderful as it can be.  Many minds, with tremendous collective experience, coming together to promote the common good. At its worst government provides no value to you whatsoever.

“ But since government never has been and never will be your Source of Well-being, we would not worry about it. When anyone, government or individual, does for another that which they have intended to do for themselves, there is an imbalance. In time, the backlash from that imbalance can become painfully apparent.

“Fortunately, your individual focus and decisions are the powerful mechanisms that most effect your life. Decisions made for you by someone else need not affect you and will not affect you unless you turn your attention to them and push against. A perfect government is not essential to your experience.”  [Abraham Hicks – 10/6/96]

And the government shall be upon his shoulders. (Is 9:6).  The only real “government” is always the relationship we each have with the conscious awareness of the “representatives” that we are always sending to the Law of Mind Action (Attraction) for fulfillment.  Sending (generating) conflicting thought/ideas will result in conflicted pseudo-laws that speak not to joy, wellness and peace in our experience (life).  This is what happens when we push against our perceptions of what is taking place in our land and in the world.  This action, that can be thought or word, then generates an energy that gives increasingly authority for our well-being to something outside of us whose focus is never grounded in spiritual Truths.  Granted, we live in a government called Pima County, Arizona and the United States – each generating laws, some to our liking and probably most not.  Our connectivity with Spirit (Source/God) is the One reality of who and what we truly are, and the more we direct conscious awareness to this connection, the more it becomes the overriding “representative” that writes the Laws that override everything produced by non-connected man.  Practice on not pushing against. Probably those who read this have nothing whatsoever to do with the job of making or enforcing laws, so practice not going out of your way to do so in mind, thought or word, as this choice then generates an experience of “government” that will appear to be unresponsive, capricious and very self-serving.   We are further reminded, In the world but not of the world.  Not always an easy choice, but one that results in peace.

Thinking and Getting

“When you withdraw your attention from those things that are not pleasing, and you put your attention upon those things that are pleasing, those pleasing things begin to become more abundant; and those not-pleasing things become more rare. Until, eventually, those not-pleasing things cannot be part of your experience because you will have eliminated your attraction factor from your vibration… What you think and what you get always matches.”  — Abraham  [Excerpted from San Rafael, CA – Sunday, July 31st, 2005]

Thankfully, in this dimension, there is a time factor between the outcome of a focus upon unhappy things and the experience that comes from them, but it does.  Everything right now in our lives is the result of a choice to focus upon something.  “Focus upon” doesn’t mean fleeting thought or acknowledgment, but more a focused time when we really stir around in something that we would classify as unpleasant or very pleasant.  This Law is always at work and brings experiences in the guise of person, place, condition or thing into our lives…there is no other way they got there.  There is never anything resembling luck, accident or chance in our manifest world.  Knowing this Law that is always at work…knowing it consciously…we can now be watchful as to where we place the focus of our attention.

Savoring Life

“Be easy about it. Don’t rush into things. Savor them more. Make more plans and be more deliberate and specific about the plans that you are making; and in all that you do, let your dominant intent be to find that which pleasures you as you imagine it. Let your desire for pleasure — your desire for feeling good — be your only guiding light. As you seek those thoughts that feel good, you will always be in vibrational harmony with the Energy that is your Source. And, under those conditions, only good can come to you; and only good can come from you.”  — Abraham  [Excerpted from Philadelphia, PA – held Tuesday, April 14th, 1998]

Good reminders as we approach the holiday season as it prompts us to have as our focus not things that bring us discomfort, but things that carry with them experiences that we truly want to do, be and have.  Re-look at traditions and explore whether or not they are needful and whether or not they bring us pleasure and joy.  Traditional ways of doing anything can morph into moments that are not pleasurable, and your mission, unless you write it otherwise, isn’t to make anyone else happy; it is to have as a focus your happiness and joy.  Happiness is a choice and you cannot successfully make that choice for anyone else.  Often is a challenge to make it for ourselves.  If you have things before you to do just because they have always been done, re-examine it/them within the understanding of your peace, happiness and energy.  Once a decision to change has been made, then realize that it may not be pleasing to another and to then make that okay.

Yoda Was Almost Right…

“Most rarely align with their true power, because it seems illogical to them that there is power in relaxation, in letting go, or in love or joy or bliss. Most people do not understand that their true power lies in releasing resistance—which is the only obstacle to their true power.

“Most people do not expect their path to great abundance to be one of ease and of joy. They have been taught that struggle and hardship and sacrifice are requirements that must be met before the reward of great abundance can be realized. Most do not understand that the very struggle they deliberately involve themselves in, in their quest for success and advantage, actually works against them.

“There are so many things that you have been taught to believe that are counter to the powerful Laws of the Universe that it is difficult for you to think your way out. And that is the reason that we present this path of much less resistance.

“We want you to breathe rather than try, to relax rather than offer effort, to smile rather than struggle, to be rather than do. For your true power is experienced only from inside the Vortex.”  Abraham

If there is any Truth to what is being said, then it is provable.  How?  Spend more time in quietly assigning outcomes and paths to Spirit…spend more time seeking anything that elicits from within you joy and appreciation.  You don’t need to solve all the challenges that seem to appear within your journey, and then remember, you can never get it wrong because you never get it done.  If a decision or direction appears to be right, then go with it and don’t question the choice.  Certainly don’t depend on another to tell you what you should do, for they don’t know, no more than you know what is right for another.  There is a truth to the adage, “sleep on it before a choice is made.”  This gives the question that is offered time to “cook” within the one Mind that knows all answers.  Then, remember that everything always works out for you.  Pause, listen, find an emotional letting go of outcomes through non-resistance…all this adds to the process of simply allowing the stream of all goodness to carry you…no efforting, no striving to go upstream.

The Subject of Money

“The subject of money is really two subjects: (1) money, plenty of money, and (2) absence of money, not nearly enough money. Often people assume that because they are speaking the words “I want more money,” they are speaking positively about money. When you are feeling fear or discomfort as you speak, you are not speaking of the subject of money, you are speaking of the subject of not enough money. And the difference is very important, because the first statement brings money and the second holds it away.”  — Abraham  [Excerpted from the book Money and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Health, Wealth & Happiness.]

A valuable lesson about the subject of money, and we all use it even though some yet attempt to remove it from the subject of spirituality, but correctly understood, money is indeed integral to the subject as well as wellness, joy and all the other words/subjects we might list.  Then, another valuable reminder…the “Universe” (God-Source-Energy) doesn’t “listen” to words as much as It reads the vibrational energy behind them.  When we are focused on not having enough money, that identifies with experiences where we won’t have enough and they are attracted into our lives, but now in all kinds of various experiences where not having enough will be reflected.  Realizing that perhaps it is a challenging step to make, what is necessary within this subject is visualizing what is equated within you as a prosperous environment and as a prosperous person.  Spend as little as fifteen minutes within this experience – a Treasure Map or Vision Board will help in this process.  Remember, we live in a Universe that knows NOT the meaning of lack or shortage…if It did, then lack and shortage would be the inescapable outcome within anyone’s life.  However,we can identify with shortage, lack, not enough-ness and similar, and once the vibrational equivalent of this is woven into consciousness, then it becomes what we are asking for more of.  Unfair?  Only if one still believes in luck, accident or chance, and not the energy experience of a co-creator.  We can choose, and we all choose as our present experience about money is the result of a choice.  Now, let’s make it a conscious one.
